Grab's new spot says you can have a "No Sweat Summer" via GIGIL Philippines

That’s what happened in Grab’s most-recent summer ad. The film takes us through the day of a lovable character as he goes about his daily tasks. From commuting, working at his office, and cooking a meal at home—he was always accompanied by waterfall-level sweat. Using this exaggeration, Grab was able to promote its services like the air-conditioned GrabCar and ordering cold drinks from GrabFood (no need to step out to the scorching heat of the sun).

Centaur powers through land and sea for his wife in Rogin-E Boost spot via GIGIL Philippines

The film resembles old-school Filipino films, and it opens with a wife who receives dull-looking pearls from a courier service instead of the real, gleaming ones she expected. This leads her centaur-husband to venture on a long action-packed journey for real pearls, which in the end is successful.
Only a month since the film’s launch, sales and demand have skyrocketed by 3119% vs. previous month—a testament to the impact of the Rogin-E Boost’s campaign.

Being summer in the Philippines, everyone was feeling the heat to the point of passing out, much like in the show. Using this insight, the brand delivered a film showing Pinoy summer dystopia. A delivery man arrives to save the day with some oxygen, only to reveal something that makes the residents faint again. That he’s actually OppaPa P, one of the country’s most breathtaking actors.

Chocolate dad unhinges chocolate craving family in quirky new Choco Mani film out of Gigil Manila

The humorous film sees a mother and her son mould together their lost husband and father out of Choco Mani chocolate to once again create their happy family.
Soon after the spot takes a turn when the mother and son begin to get chocolate cravings – and suddenly the husband/father becomes an object of desire.

GIGIL Philippines inserts ‘Ninong' into Netflix Christmas trailer to promote new films

GIGIL were tasked with the job and took inspiration from the person most associated with Christmas in the Philippines, and made him the campaign handle: ‘Ninong’.
‘Ninong’ is the Filipino word for ‘godfather’: the man who acts as sponsor to a child during their Catholic baptism. In the Philippines a person’s godfather is expected to give money to their godchildren at Christmas. That’s why they go into hiding during the Christmas season, Filipinos joke.
